Terms and Conditions

1. General

By booking any training course with Tri Slides Fire Training and using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by Tri Slides Fire Training.

 

2. Booking and confirmation

All bookings must be made through our website, by phone, or via email. Once your booking is received, we will confirm the course details, including date, time, and location. Bookings are only considered confirmed upon receipt of official confirmation via email.

 

3. Payment terms

• Payment must be made in full within 30 days of the invoice date

• We accept payment via bank transfer, credit card, or invoice.

• Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the course and/or no participant certification.

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

• If you need to cancel or reschedule a course, you must notify us at least 10 working days in advance. A full refund will be provided for cancellations made within this period.

• Cancellations made less than 10 working days before the course date will incur a 50% fee of the total course cost.

• No-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled course date will incur the full course fee.

• If Tri Sides Fire Training needs to cancel or reschedule, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

 

5. Health and safety

Participants must comply with all health and safety requirements during the training. Tri Sides Fire Training is not responsible for any injury caused by failure to follow safety instructions.

 

6. Course delivery

• Courses are delivered at a specified location agreed by both parties.

• It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the training venue meets necessary health and safety standards and is suitable for the course being conducted.

7. Certificates

Certificates of attendance will be issued upon successful completion of the course. The certificate will be valid for the period of time specified on the specific course - each course varies.

 

8. Course Materials

All training materials provided are for personal use only. Materials may not be copied, distributed, or used for any other purposes without prior written permission from Tri Sides Fire Training.

9. Links to third party websites

The Website may include links to third party websites that are controlled and maintained by others. Any link to other websites is not an endorsement of such websites and you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the content or availability of any such sites.

10. Data protection

We respect your privacy and will handle all personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

 

11. Changes to terms

Tri Sides Fire Training reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes before they come into effect.

 

12. Indemnity

The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Tri Sides Fire Training, its trainers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

1. Any injury or damage to persons or property caused by the client or participants during or after the fire training course, unless due to the negligence of Tri Sides Fire Training.

2. Any failure by the client to provide accurate or sufficient information regarding the specific fire safety needs of the business, resulting in the unsuitability or ineffectiveness of the training provided.

 

13. Severance

If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Term or Condition shall be severed, and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.

 

14. Advice

The contents of the website do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making or refraining from making, any decision.

 

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
